11TH
ANNUAL PROFILES OF EXCELLENCE GALA
PARISIAN
ADVENTURE BENEFITS HENDERSON
MENTAL HEALTH CENTER
Fort Lauderdale, FL – The atmosphere
at the Hyatt Pier Sixty-Six is sure to make
guests feel as if they are in Paris,
the city of lights, on March 25, when Henderson
Mental
Health
Center,
South Florida’s
oldest and largest not-for profit, behavioral
healthcare provider, presents its annual fund
raising event, Passport
to Paris: 11th Annual Profiles of
Excellence Gala.
“We
plan to transform the ballroom into a romantic
French Bistro, complete with our own Eiffel
Tower
for the evening,” said Karen Drumheller, Henderson’s
Director of Development. “Everyone will feel
like they are having a rendezvous in Paris.”
The
festive evening will feature a cocktail reception,
exciting auction items, dinner and dancing,
and an awards presentation. The black-tie optional
affair, which is being co-chaired by Lorraine
Thomas and Diáne Johnson, will honor long time advocates Jack Kuhn
and Mary Porter.
Kuhn,
who worked at Henderson
with the PATH Program for five years, is a Member
of the Board of Directors and a dedicated donor.
He says Henderson
remains important to him because of their mission
and philosophy on mental health treatment. Porter
has been a long time supporter of Henderson
over the years and lists Henderson
as one of the many important causes in our community.
She says it gives her a good feeling inside
to help a great organization like Henderson.
The
11th Annual Gala will be held in
the Crystal Ballroom at the Hyatt Regency Pier
Sixty Six on Saturday, March 25, 2006 at 7:00
p.m. Tickets are $150 per person and sponsorships
are still available. For more information or
to make reservations, contact Karen Drumheller
at (954) 777-1624.
