Henderson Mental Health Center Celebrates . . ."Mental Health Month"

Purpose: To educate and inform the people of Broward county and local media outlets concerning mental health issues that affect our quality of life.

To promote the Center's programs and services which effectively treat mental illness and prevent hospitalizations and limit other serious conditions such as homelessness, truancy, crime rates and foster care placements.

To celebrate the progress in the treatment of mental illness and the numerous lives which have been saved with these advances.

To reduce the stigma often ascribed to this disease.
