The "Summary of Employee Benefits", listed below, is not all inclusive and some benefits may be subject to change without immediate prior notice by Henderson Mental Health Center, Inc.  In addition some benefits may depend on individual employment status.

Paid Leave:
          Vacation:

 6.67 hours per month (2wks. vacation per year)
- New employee thru the end of 2nd year

10.00 hours per month (3wks. vacation per year)
- Beginning of 3rd year thru end of 5th year

13.34 hours per month ( 4wks. vacation per year)
- Beginning of 6th year and forward

(VACATION TIME ACCRUED DURING THE 3-MONTH PROBATIONARY PERIOD.)

Sick Time:
8 hours per calendar month & may be accumulated to a maximum of 144 hours, (18 days.)

Personal Time:
16 hours per calendar year, (2 days of accrued sick leave may be used for personal business.

Jury Duty:
Employee paid for up to 2 weeks.

Bereavement Leave:
3 paid days/immediate family; 5 paid days/immediate family - (out-of-town service only.)

Holidays(11 Paid Holidays):
New Years Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, President's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day After Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve Day & a Floating Holiday.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP):  (Wellness & Benefit)
The Employee Assistance Program provides employees and immediate family members with confidential, professional outside agency counseling for a variety of problems.  100% paid by Henderson Mental Health Center, Inc. - (EFFECTIVE DATE OF HIRE.)

401(A) Plan:
          An employer only contributed Retirement Plan - Minimum one year of service requirement, 1000 hrs. of work & 21 years of age.

403(B) Plan:
           
An employee only contributed Retirement Plan - Date of Hire.
          Employee directed pre-tax sheltered annuities (Mutual Fund families.)

Flexible Benefits Plan:
        Pre-Tax payment of Group Health & Dental Insurance Premiums-Three Months from Date of Hire.
        Pre-Tax payment of Child Care Reimbursement - Three Months from Date of Hire.
        Pre-Tax payment on Medical Reimbursement - Three Months from Date of Hire.

Training & Workshops:
          First Aid, CPR, CPI, Compliance, CFARS, and CEU's offered - Date of Hire.

Casual Work Day:
          Every Friday is dress down day - Date of Hire.

FMLA:
          Up to twelve weeks unpaid leave for the birth of a child; placement with the employee of a child for adoption or foster care; own serious health condition or to provide care to immediate family members - After 12 months of employment and worked at least 1,250 hours in the previous 12 months.

Suggestion Box:
           
The Employee Relations Committee each month selects a suggestion and awards prize money to the winner.

Quarterly & Annual Employee Recognition Program:
          Nominees are chosen from each branch to represent their branch for Employee of the Quarter and Employee of the Year.

Theme Park Discount Cards:
          Discounts on Admission Price & Merchandise at Universal , Anheuser-Busch Theme parks, and Lion Country Safari.

Library:
          Up-to-date audio-visual tapes and books.

As required by law HMHC offers Military leave, Health continued coverage (COBRA), Unemployment Compensation, Worker's Compensation and Social Security Benefits.
